I know that I post alot of protein recipes… but I need the protein for my workouts. This morning I decided to make myself a protein packed breakfast, so I made banana protein pancakes.
I could not believe how amazing these were! They were fluffy and full of flavor, a perfect combo!
These were simply too good not to share, so here is the recipe:
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 cup greek yogurt (I used vanilla)
- 1/2 scoop protein powder (I used french vanilla whey)
- 1 banana
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 egg
Directions
- Blend all of the ingredients in blender.
- Spray pan with cooking spray
- Pour batter onto pan on medium heat
- Flip pancakes (after approximately 2-3 minutes)
- Serve!

Practice
After breakfast, I headed to practice. Today was a relatively easy day. We began practice by doing 2 x 15 minutes on the rowing machines. After erging, we did a 40 minute crossfit workout. It was pretty intense, but I managed to survive
Shortly after practice I was craving froyo, so I went with my siblings to get some
Ok… so I went alittle crazy… but it was sooooo good!
Surprise, You’ve been punked!
My mom had to work today so she asked us if we would want to eat lunch with her at work. She works about 45 minutes away from our house, so we told her that we were not up for the drive. Little did she know, we were planning on surprising her!
When we arrived at my mom’s work we immediately headed over to the lounge in hopes of finding her. I called her and asked her what she was up to and found out that she was on the opposite side of the building. We were not sure how to get her to the lounge without giving ourselves away, so I decided that I would call her using her work phone. She was so confused!
I told my mom that I was the only one there so that Ash could be a surprise. Ash made her appearance by screaming “You’ve been punked!”. Oooh Ash…
Anyway, we had a fun time at my mom’s work and it was awesome that we made her day
