This morning I woke up with a sweet tooth and decided to make myself a smoothie. I really wanted a chocolate smoothie so I threw a bunch of yummy ingredients into the blender and ended up with a super delicious shake! The “shake” was so thick but I used absolutely no ice cream
! So here is my fake shake (haha that rhymes) recipe!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup frozen greek yogurt (I used Chobani’s non-fat vanilla)
- 1 scoop chocolate protein or vitamin powder (I used Nature’s Bounty vitamin shake mix)
- 1 frozen banana
- 3 hershey kisses (chocolate chips are fine)
Directions
The night before:
- Chop up one banana and put in the freezer
- Put one cup of greek yogurt into the freezer
That day:
- Pour frozen banana slices into the blender
- Microwave yogurt for ten seconds (helps to get yogurt out of the container)
- Squeeze yogurt into blender (should fall out of container but retains the container’s shape)
- Throw in 1 scoop of protein powder/vitamin mix into blender and hershey kisses
- Pour in milk
- Blend
- Enjoy!
