Hey guys! I made it back home yesterday after our trip to New York. We were not there for very long, but it was still fun.
Last night I felt like having a hearty dinner, so I made some thing similar to hamburger helpers.
I kept it simple and made pasta along with hamburger pieces. I then melted some cheese with the meat and added onions. Nothing difficult. Healthy? Not really.
I spent the rest of my day unpacking and watching House and Psych. My family loves watching House and Psych, so I would call it a good night for us!
Breakfast
After waiting several days for the avocados to be ripe in my house, I noticed that one of the avocados was ripe. Soooo I made eggs with avocado… and tomato, cheese, ham, and onions
As you all know, I love throwing random stuff into my eggs
I could not get over how amazing this morning’s breakfast was.
This afternoon I headed over to Starbucks with my mom. I think we are Starbuck-o-holics (yes, I did just make that up). We brought the puppies along in the car for the ride. After placing our order, the lady asked us if we wanted Puppy Lattes. Of course we said yes!
I read about Puppy Lattes on the internet before.. but I was unsure if they were real. A Puppy Latte is a Starbucks shot cup filled with whip cream. Needless to say, the puppies definitely loved them!
After finishing up my homework, my mom and I went and got facials. My face definitely needed one!
Well, I have school tomorrow and then practice. Apparently tomorrow is going to be a “hard” practice. I am not really sure what my coach meant by that. 6k tomorrow? 14 x 2:30 mins tomorrow? I have no idea. Wish me luck!

Have you ever heard of Starbucks’ Puppy Lattes?
What are your plans for this week?

Glad you had fun in NY! Oh and my puppy totally loves the puppy lattes from Starbucks too

I HATE when my coach tells us it’s going to be a hard practice! I end up obsessing over it all day (or for multiple days) beforehand. Expect the worst and then it can only be better

I know! I always have to prep myself for the worst!
Good Luck!
You make your eggs the way I make my salads…with EVERYTHING in them! I’ve thrown in sandwich pickles, relish, mustard, cream cheese, everything. I’ve heard about the puppy lattes before too! I need to go take Bentley to get one, he’d LOVE it.

You should! I am sure that Bentley will love it
Those eggs sound yummy! Usually when I have a ripe avocado to use up, I’ll mash it up with a little salt, pepper, and lime and spread it on toast! Sounds weird, but it’s incredibly delicious! I love that Starbucks has puppy lattes – too cute!

That sounds really good! I will have to try that sometime!
Glad you had such a fun time in NYC, even if it was a short visit.
Your little doggie is so adorable!!!

I’m glad you guys had a good trip to NY. Your eggs look good..they’re like chopped up omelets with all the stuff you put in them. I hope your practice isn’t too difficult today! That last picure of your sog is cute! This week we aren’t doing very much since we are going to Chicago Friday! Maybe I’ll buy some clothes; we don’t have much winter clothes down here in FL.

Welcome home! I love that plane picture. I think your hearty meal looks perfect, sometimes that’s all the body needs! I have never heard of a puppy latte, how cute.
Um, cutie alert! What an adorable pooch. I’ve heard of puppy lattes but never tried one. Perhaps I’ll have to the next time I drop by Starbucks with my dog! I love a big bowl of scrambled eggs mixed up with things like avocado. So healthy, filling, and (most importantly) tasty!!
