This morning I was in the mood for some pancakes. Instead of making unhealthy pancakes, I made some protein pancakes.
They were super easy to make, plus I loved the protein in them! If only we had bananas to top them off with… oh well.
The pancakes consisted of:
- 1 cup oats (old-fashioned)
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup greek yogurt (6oz Chobani works too!)
- 3 tbsp milk
- Dash of cinnamon
I threw all of the ingredients into the blender and then cooked them! Easy!
After enjoying my breakfast, I walked the dogs over to our local dog groomers for haircuts. It was their first haircut! After dropping them off, I went on a run. I ran 4.25 miles, which was pretty good (for me) considering how lazy I have been with running. My only regret is not wearing a hat. It was sooo cold that my ears felt numb. Next time I will wear a hat!
I was also dressed very… colorfully
I must have looked really funny, but who cares
I like to have fun!
After my run, I came home and caught up on my favorite blogs and then made lunch. I was in the mood for eggs, but I decided to try something new and make rice with eggs. Not very adventurous, but it was still something new for me!
It tasted a little bland, so I added some ketchup to it. Do any of you eat ketchup with your eggs?
The ketchup made the eggs taste sooooo much better with ketchup! I know it sounds weird/disgusting, but it is really good (at least in my opinion).
Later, my mom and I picked up the dogs. They look like different dogs! My mom misses their old hair… but I like their new look better
My sister is going to flip out though… she likes their long fur…
Ok… so Cody does look a bit strange skinny… but I still think that he is a cutie
My new goal is to fatten him up!
After playing with the dogs, I went to the mall with my sister and Katie. There were sooooo many sales! I just could not resist not buying anything
So I bought some clothes from PINK, lotion from Bath and Body Works, spray from Bath and Body Works, and hand soap from Bath and Body Works.
The lotion was $4 (originally $11), the hand soap was $5 (originally $12), and the spray was $5 (originally $14). Not bad right?!

Do you eat your eggs with ketchup?
Have you found any good deals recently?

It is definitely different… but I still enjoyed it
I always put ketchup on my eggs and pretty much with anything else I eat. I mostly use food to transport the ketchup from my plate to my mouth.
I think I’m addicted!

Hahaha Im glad someone understands me!
I love Bath & Body Works, can’t walk out of there without buying anything. Your camera takes great photos! Rice and eggs actually sounds super intriguing to me. I like ketchup with my eggs but my fave is a nice chunky veggie salsa! I agree I don’t think I could’ve eaten the rice and eggs alone either. A bit plain. Good job on your run!

Thanks! My mom put salsa in her egg rice and said that it tasted good that way
I’ve seen other people ketchup their eggs, but I’ve never tried it myself. I love spicy foods, so I’m always doing salsa. Sounds good though, I’ll try it next time!

Poor Cody! He needs a sandwich.
Protein pancakes sound good! How was the texture?
No ketchup, but salsa or Tobasco on eggs are good once in a while.
I think he needs a few doughnuts! The pancakes were pretty thick and had an oatmeal texture (not sure if that makes sense).
