Snow Day?

Hello my wonderful friends! We survived Monday *Insert Elle Woods’ “We did it!” voice*! I don’t mind going to school on Mondays (say what?!) but I do mind going to crew! As you all probably know, every Monday my team has a 6k test. Recently, I have been doing pretty well… ok I have been doing really well *blushes*. With my consistently improving scores, I was expecting to beat last weeks PR. Did I do it? Drum roll please. No. Awkward. I missed my PR by .1. Was I frustrated? YES. I went a little too hard for the first 3000 meters of my test… whoops. I was disappointed with myself at first, but then I realized something. Missing your PR by .1 is not very much pluuus I have been setting new PRs for the last 4 6ks we have been doing. I am going to admit, I am alittle bit of an overachiever.

When I arrived back at home, I knew I needed something sweet. I settled on making another thin mint protein smoothie :) This time I used chocolate soymilk and added a few spoons of fat-free vanilla froyo :) It was soooo good!

While sipping my smoothie, I caught up on reading your comments. You guys make my day! I love reading all of your kind comments!

I also got my latest PBteen in the mail… I was pretty excited! All of the summer pictures made me want summer to come quicker… but that won’t be happening anytime soon! I might be having a snow day tomorrow! I am excited for the possible day off, but I am tired of all of this snow! Thank goodness I will be attending college in Cali next year :)

How was your Monday?

Will there be a snow storm near you?

  1. Yay for snow days! I’m off today and am pretty jacked about it. Haha but after this the snow can go away for good! I’m with you… summer, come faster! Congrats on your PRs and almost PRs! .1 away is definitely a big accomplishment in my book.
