This morning I woke up and decided not to go to school. Last night, as I was coughing my brains out, my mom gave my the option of not going to school today. I am usually not one to miss school for a cold buuuut considering that it is my senior year… who cares. Senioritis much? Plus, my school had a late start today meaning that classes would be 35 mins. I knew that I would not be missing much today and that it would be quite pointless to even go to school. This girl needs a mini vacay
As my brother slept the morning away (he got to skip school also), my mom and I headed out to my favorite breakfast place in the whole wide world- Egg Harbor Cafe. I have not been there in ages! Rather than ordering something healthy (sorry guys), I ordered my favorite dish there- cinnamon roll french toast (aka Heaven!).
Today’s dish was pretty good, but the bacon was kind of burned (can you tell?). I didn’t really mind it though
After breakfast, I hit the books (woooah what about senioritis?!). I reviewed some things and made sure that I really understood what I just learned earlier this week.
After spending some quality time with my books (and blogs… waahhh?) my mom took my brother and I out to the mall. I was actually pretty surprised that 1) my mom was willingly taking me to the mall 2) my brother wanted to go to the mall 3) I didn’t even have to ask to go to the mall!
After reading several articles on the benefits of dark chocolate (and listening to my French teacher, can you tell that I love French class?), I decided it was time to join the dark side (any Star Wars nerds reading?!). I have never really liked the taste of dark chocolate but I do like the taste of being healthy… does that even make any sense?
I was shocked to see that they had an 85% cacao bar. Of course I bought a few of those!
We also made a stop at Barnes and Noble. I saw this book (I forgot the name already) and just had to show you the benefits of dark chocolate. Sweet right?
I also say a Dr.Seuss mobile so I just had to take a picture of it… and with it
Now I am officially cool guys!
Later, I discovered an amaaazing website. I am in love with it! It is called DailyMile. It is a website where you enter in your specific workout (and times) and you have friends cheer you on… except I only have 1 friend on it (awks). Anyway, you all should make accounts and add me. I want to cheer you guys on and hopefully we can motivate each other to improve. If you decided to join, add me! I hope that you all give it a shot
(You can also see my latest activity from daily mile on the side of my blog under my recent pins)
Now for dinner. Tonight was yet again… Jason’s Deli. I just love that place. I needed some healthy food in me due to the insane amount of sugar (and fat) I consumed for breakfast.
I was not expecting to enjoy my salad very much (I usually miss the California Club when I go to the salad bar), but I ended up really enjoying it. Maybe my body needed a break from the insane amount of sugar and carbs I have been eating lately?
How was your Wednesday?
Do you have a DailyMile account?

Ummm so you really know how to do it up on a sick day. I was literally strapped to my bed when I was sick. I had to be dying to stay home. I wasn’t even allowed to watch TV and you got my favorite breakfast AND a shopping trip? I’m insanely jealous of you right now.

Looked fantastic! I actually don’t have a daily mile account, however my Wednesday was super wonderful! I bought some dresses, got a good eyebrow wax (TMI? Oops! Oh well, I needed one BAD), found out some SUPER exciting news, and just overall had a good day! I hope you feel better today!

That sounds like a good plan to me!
Haha senioritis! That’s how we do senior year. My report card came the other day with at least 10 unexcused absences (in my defense, most were for TA!) haha love it, love it.
Your day looks awesome! I’m a major fan of breakfast and yours looks amazing. #drooling Also, yay for the mall! I’m going tomorrow to pick up my Mac (!!) and cannot wait. I just love the mall atmosphere.
Have a great weekend, girl!!
