Ahh it’s already Sunday night! Before I begin to talk about my day today, I want to quickly recap yesterday.
Yesterday
My brother had to take the SAT so I thought I would be an awesome sister and make him breakfast. Aren’t I just the best?!
I made him pancakes, eggs, and bacon (as you can probably tell). I usually make some sort of healthy pancakes, but this time I made good ol fluffy ones. To be honest, I was not expecting them to be so fluffy and delicious!
After dropping my brother off, I went out for breakfast with my mom and sister. Can you guys guess where we went? Panera, of course
I just love their breakfasts!
I was then able to talk my mom into getting green tea smoothies from Robeks. I have not been there in fooooorever. I really missed that place. To my surprise, they are retiring their green tea smoothies! Why does this always happen to me?! Doesn’t anyone else like green tea? I almost cried (kind of kidding..) but they assured me that they can continue making the drink for me. Whew. Have you ever had a product that you are obsessed with love be discontinued?
After our visit to Robeks, we got haircuts. I did not realize how long it has been since my last haircut… it might have been May…
I did not get too much cut off, but my split ends are gone. Adios split ends, and helloooo healthy hair! While at the salon, Ash had her hair fixed. For those of you who have no clue what I am talking about, my sister tried dying her hair on her own… enough said. Her hair went from dark brown to…. a bright orange. Yikes. She was trying to dye her hair blonde, but it didn’t really work. I guess everyone has some sort of hair catastrophe at one point in their lives… mine was in 5th grade. Oh boy! I would highly recommend not getting your haircut by a lady who speaks zero english (unless of course you know her language). Let’s just say that she would not stop cutting my hair and ended up cutting it crookedly. It was bad. Pluuus the next day was my first day of school. Poor little Britt. Have any of you had hair catastrophes?
After getting our hair done and picking Ev up, we had japanese food for lunch. For those of you who don’t know, I loooove Japanese food. I could probably eat Japanese food everyday and I would not get sick of it!

Today
This morning I woke up with a sore throat and a stuffy nose. Ugh. I was trying so hard not to get sick, but I always seem to get sick around this time of the year. Hopefully this cold goes away super soon! I have a 6k tomorrow… so tonight would be great!
Breakfast
After looking around in the fridge, I decided to make myself a green smoothie. I have been really into green smoothies lately!
This smoothie consisted of: 1 frozen banana, 1 cup greek yogurt (apple), 2 handfuls of spinach, and 1 tsp matcha. It did not smell good… but it tasted great!
Later, we went grocery shopping. This time I took some pics of things I love to get while at the grocery store
Dinner
Tonight’s dinner was ridiculously easy to make, yet it was so delicious!
How could (wheat) linguine and meatballs go wrong? Let’s just say it took me approximately 30 seconds to eat it all
I spent the rest of my night finishing homework and catching up on tv shows. I also started watching Carrie Diaries (thanks to Cait!). I have 20 more minutes left of the first episode, but I will finish it tomorrow. I need my beauty sleep, jk I just need energy for my 6k. Speaking of tv shows, did any of you watch tonight’s episode of Downton Abbey?! I just finished watching it and I cannot believe what happened! Don’t worry, I won’t spoil it for any of you. Let’s just say that it was not a cheery episode.
Have you ever had a product that you loved be discontinued?
Have you ever had a hair catastrophe?
By the way, did any of you notice my new blog design? I hope that you all like it

The new design is so cute, I love it! As for hair messups, I’ve never had a “hair hair” problem, however a couple weeks ago I managed to accidentally cut some of my eyelashes off. LOng story short, no more false eyelashes for me. EVER.

Ah I still have yet to try paneras breakfast.. which is so sad because I eat there ALL the time. Panera, potbelly, and starbucks are definitely the places I go to the most. And I hate hair catastrophes. I tried to dye my hair bright blue once and the first try turned out gray and green… it was bad. But it turned out the second time! haha

I love panera breakfast! There power breakfast sandwich is my favorite! The Japanese food looks so good! Theres a Japanese restaurant i love to go to but it doesn’t open tell 8:30 pm and i’m normally ready for dinner way before then! I hope your brother did well on the SAT!
A big YUM to all of the above!
And poor Ashley. I guess we all have to have a beauty disaster at some point. I tried blonde once too. It wasn’t good.
I honesty do not think that I have ever eaten Japanese food. I will have to check that out. Do you know if they have many vegetarian options?

Yeah! They have veggie rolls
Ahh!! I’m so happy to find another blogger the same age as me! This is awesome, day made haha. Okay, first of all I have to say that both breakfasts look awesome! I love Panera for everything, but have yet to get breakfast there! I guess I’m missing out. And don’t feel bad about the haircut thing… it’s been since February for me. Meh, I’m over it. Haha
Also, that sushi looks gooooood girl. Hope you’re having a great start to the week! Can’t wait to read more!
Yay!! I am so happy that you found me
I look forward to reading your posts too!
Oh I’m SO happy you took my Carrie Diaries rec! How do you like it? Cute right?
Very nice well balanced breakfast! My little brother wouldn’t TOUCH the eggs he’s so picky. He would go for the least protein filled parts of course, ha!
New haircuts feel so good. And I love your little bento box at the Japanese place! I love how places like that always have cute box lunch specials.
Feel better!

thanks Cait! My brother is all into protein but nothing “too healthy” lol.
I love green tea so much! I drink it every single day. I even got a small pack of green tea mints in my Christmas stocking this year. The amazing part is that they have the same nutrients as a cup of green tea. Anyway, where do you buy Matcha to make the green tea smoothie? I have never had one and am super excited about trying it.
I know that Teavana use to sell matcha but Starbucks just bought them so they are going through all of their prodects. Long story short, Teavana’s matcha is temporarily unavailable. I recently bought more matcha at a small tea shop by my house. I am sure that you could find matcha in any tea store or online. I do have to warn you though… it is pricey for high quality matcha (but so worth it!)
