Happy Valentine’s Day guys! Thank you so much for reading my blog
You all make me smile!

As you all probably know, I gave up desserts for Lent so I decided to eat fruit instead! One of my favorite bloggers, Lauryn, posted a great Valentine’s day treat that I just had to use! She stuffed raspberries with dark chocolate.
I made some of these and put some in my mom’s car this morning. She loved my little surprise
I also brought some of these to school and shared them with one of my girlies, we both enjoyed how healthy and delicious these were!
As for breakfast this morning, I made myself a banana split shake. It didn’t taste exactly like a banana split (I didn’t have any more pineapple at my house), but it was still delicious… and super filling!
I found this recipe on Dashing Dish, so feel free to check it out!
Practice
Today’s practice was not that difficult, but I was feeling a bit sluggish at the beginning. We started off practice with a cross fit and then finished with an erg (rowing machine) session. We ended up doing 2 x 18 minutes. Every 4 minutes we would spend one minute at our 6k pace which made our workout tiring. My legs felt really weird on the first 18 minutes, but they warmed up by the second 18 minutes (thank goodness!).
When I came back home, I was in the mood for another smoothie/shake. Yes, I think I have a smoothie addiction.
Tonight’s smoothie consisted of:
- 1 cup cottage cheese (you can’t even taste it)
- 1 cup greek yogurt (I used vanilla Chobani)
- 8 dark chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 banana
- 1 scoop protein power
- 1 cup dark chocolate almond milk
The result was fantastic! I will be making more almond butter smoothies in the future! As for the rest of my dinner, I ate a piece of toast with almond butter (go figure). I think that I am also addicted to almond butter…
Anyway, I hope that you guys all had a fantastic Valentine’s Day! Here are some Valentine’s Day posts from my favorite bloggers!

Good luck with giving up soda! I gave it up when I was in 12 and I have been pretty good since! After not drinking soda for a while, it begins to taste weird (which makes it a lot easier not to drink!).
hahaha aww I love baby pics

This smoothie sounds AMAZING! I never add nut butter to smoothies as iI always feel the taste will get masked! However I think I am a bit tempted to now

Hey girl, for some reason it won’t let me comment on your post “chasing ghosts” so I’ll just leave the comment here! That’s so exciting that you’re in new orleans. You haaave to have some beignets for me while you’re there. Yuuuum! Also, I would be terrified to go on a haunted house tour haha
